Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)

Your child may need special support at some point in their school life.
This may be for physical, learning or behavioural difficulties.
There are a wide variety of ways in which the school can support these children and at times we may seek advice from other agencies.

It is our policy to involve parents in all stages of SEND support.
Our SEND Co-ordinator (SENDCO) works with other staff to address problems and support children about whom we have concerns.
If you have any concerns about your child’s development please speak to the class teacher who will refer you to the SENDCO  if appropriate.

You can find our SEND policies on our Policies and Procedures Page

Ruth Coombe is our SENDCO and can be contacted via the school office on admin@virginia.towerhamlets.sch.uk or 020 77396195
